Vaporizer Cleaning and Maintenance: 4 Things to Know

The regular use of a vaping device will cause it to depreciate with time. This is not surprising as you will likely find herb particles and resin build up in it. It might clog your screen, making other accessories sticky. The aftermath of this is a vapor with terrible taste. Over time as you vape, you will discover that the flavor is not giving you what you want. In addition to the vapor’s intensity, you might not get the desired effect after vaping.

One impressive way to, however, stay on top of this depreciation is to have an effective cleaning and maintenance culture. Not only will this improve performance, but you also get to keep your unit running at optimum capacity while saving on replacement parts.

With a regular cleaning and maintenance culture, you can extend the lifespan of your device. Your vapor will produce the right hit, and you will get a good quality output.

Cleaning and maintaining your device, however, does not have to be hard work. We have summarized everything you need to know into four simple steps. This practice is your ticket to a long-lasting vaping device.

Know Your Vape

A good vaporizer is an investment. Unlike a stick of tobacco that you light and dispose of off after a few minutes, getting to know your vaporizer will take time. However, to get the best from your vaporizer, you should invest the necessary time and effort to get to know every component of your device. And if you dont have time to do enough research, then head on to a quality dab pen to buy trusted vape pens.

Most vaping devices and harmony CBD vape e liquids produce gunks. Gunk is like a filthy remain from concentrate material. Not cleaning your vape device will result in the buildup of gunk. This disrupts your device's performance, shortens the lifespan, triggers massive draw resistance, and decreases your overall vaping experience.

If you know your vape parts, taking it apart will be more comfortable. With this, you can clean every part, piece, and subpart. With every cleaning section, you discover something new about your device. This comes down to spending time with the device as it opens the door to greater discovery about the tool. It also enhances the maintenance of the device.  Alternatively, those looking for minimum maintenance devices can consider electric rigs for sale and vape in a carefree way.

Be Smart with the Battery

A lithium-ion battery powers all vape devices. A charged vaporizer battery gives the right power your device needs to heat the dry herb, safely triggering conduction or convection.

Portable Vaporizer Battery

Do not overcharge the battery. Also, do not make it a habit to drain the battery before using it completely. It adds unnecessary strain on the battery, which affects the efficiency over time.

Pen vaporizer Battery

As you use the best vape pen in time, excess dust will accumulate on the terminals. When you detach a pen vaporizer battery, use a cotton swab or an old cloth to wipe the vape pen battery's connection side.

You can take care of minute particles using a canned air duster. Be sure to, however, protect the battery terminals from the liquid. The tendency of the liquid damaging the battery is pretty high. Besides, this can affect your warranty.

Take Care of the Heating Chamber

The heating chamber of a vape device is like the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. It comes in various materials, depending on the manufacturer, known as a chamber or tank. The manufacturer can choose to make it with stainless steel, strong plastic, or glass. Here is the chamber where the dry herb is fired up, giving the vapor and clouds you enjoy.

Since it serves as a combustion chamber while vaping, it experiences a lot of wear and tear. With a cotton swab, soak it in isopropyl alcohol, you can rub off any residue buildup in and along the material's edge. Also , it would be great if you use strong CBD vape juice which produces enough vape clouds.

Make sure you do this carefully; however, overusing the chamber can accidentally dismantle it, permanently, in turn, ruining the device. After, use small alcohol pads to clean off any herbal residue.

Soak Overnight

Effective cleaning and maintenance of your vaping device are essential. As a result, you need to soak some parts like tubes, screens, and others to allow stubborn particles to dissolve well. While some residue could dissolve immediately, there could be other stubborn residues that will need more time.

We recommend soaking in an acetone solution. Alcohol is readily available at the local store for people without access to acetone solution. You need to soak the parts using a clean jar. The solution works at a microscopic level, dislodging the residue from the device gradually.

Note, if you cannot soak for long hours, we recommend acetone as it works faster. Alcohol, on the other hand, needs a long period of soaking to get a better result.

Conclusion

One of the reasons many smokers switch to vaping is cost saving. This feature, however, does not come on a platter of gold. You need to be willing to invest the time and effort required to maintain your vaporizer.

With the right cleaning and maintenance culture, you can get the best out of your vaping device. You get many advantages like better vaping experience and cost-saving.

Make sure to spend time and effort with your device. You will figure out many things about your device that will help with the cleaning and maintenance process.
